Description

Sterile Processing Tech PRN (as needed)

Collects, decontaminates, stores and distributes all reusable supplies and patient care equipment in the hospital. The Central Services/Reprocessing Technician  is responsible for meeting the needs of internal and external Hospital customer and supporting the unit by providing a variety of services involving cleaning, packaging, and sterilizing surgical instruments and surgical case carts to the OR This individual performs in accordance with hospital standards and policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Central Service Technician Certification within one year of hire
  • Minimum one year of experience working at a Sterile Processing Tech required for PRN position
