As a Lead Pharmacy Technician you will:

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or Registered Pharmacist and according to the standard procedures, state, and federal law - monitors and prioritizes pharmacy technician workflow, maintains appropriate inventory levels, mixes IV and performs other related duties.
  • Reports to the Director of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician you will have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensure as required by state and current PTCB certification or equivalent certification/training program.
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Basic understanding of the role of and use of a computer in the processing of prescription orders with minimum word processing skills.
  • Proven leadership experience with maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
