·Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.

·Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.

·Operates Nuclear Medicine equipment to perform clinical diagnostic exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.

·Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area. 

·Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the Nuclear Medicine and keeps patient flow smooth.

Education:
X Graduate of a program in Radiology Technology with completion of Nuclear Medicine cross training and grandfathered on KY state license or graduate of aNuclear Medicine program □ Preferred X Required

Certifications:

X Registered Radiologist Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)□ Preferred X Required

X Basic Life Support (BLS) □ Preferred X Required

Licenses: Current CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) is preferred and KY state license is required.If not CNMT certified, ARRT is required.
