Director of Surgical Services

To provide clinical practice leadership for the operation of specified patient services department within 
SageWest dedicated to the care of an assigned patient population. 
Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer
FLSA: Exempt 

Required Licenses
[Wyoming, United States] Registered Nurse 
Current RN License in the State of Wyoming or Compact equivalent
Minimum Education
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
Master's Degree in a related discipline preferred
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum 5 years' progressively responsible experience
Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center preferred
Required Skills
Analytical ability sufficient to evaluate data, make judgments and recommendations regarding operations and 
budgets, design protocols, and generate well developed reports.
Professional knowledge sufficient to assure quality of care and patient safety provided with multidisciplinary 
services areas.
Must have current BLS from American Heart Association
ACLS certification within 90 days of hire 
PALS certification within 90 days of hire
