Speech Therapist PRN

Job Summary:

A hospital-based Speech Therapist, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive communication disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, administering therapy sessions, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and monitoring patient progress to ensure optimal functional outcomes across various medical conditions, both within the hospital and following discharge. 

Qualifications:  

• Current State license as a Speech Therapist 

Education/License:    

• Current state license as a Speech Therapist 
• BLS - required upon hire and continuously thereafter

Experience:  

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
