Essential Functions:
Responsible for strategic planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on local employers, municipalities and EMS and other potential referral sources within the hospitals' primary, secondary and tertiary service areas. This position primarily focuses on developing facility referral relationships with the employers in the service area with the goal of maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsible for creating and maintaining a target list of employers, creating and implementing an annual growth and outreach business plan. You will report on the activity level and outcome of activities on a regular basis, focusing on increases in volume and/or addressing issues.
The focus will be to continuously strive to make improvements that result in better patient experiences in our facilities for both patients and employers.
·Participation on weekly employer strategy calls
·Assist in developing occupational program
·Utilization of spreadsheets to document and optimize outreach to referral sources
·Execution of growth and outreach plan
·Special projects as assigned by CEO or CMO
PMP Certification, preferred.
