Description

Kindred Hospital El Paso is a long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital specializing in the treatment of patients recovering from post-intensive care and medically complex conditions. Our hospital provides both intensive care and telemetry-level services, offering advanced monitoring and support for patients requiring extended medical care. Job Summary

Keeps assigned areas of the hospital clean, safe, and pleasant for patients, employees, and visitors.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains floors in the facility through execution of specialty cleaning and cleaning areas appropriately.
  • Inspects patient room furnishings, drapes, cubicle curtains, rooms, utility rooms, nurses’ stations, medicine rooms, lobbies, or other areas upon completion of cleaning for quality of work, as assigned.
  • Assures that proper safety and infection control practices are being carried out.
  • Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • None required.

Experience

  • One (1) or more year(s) experience in a hospital or environment similar to current structure is preferred.
