PayRange:Pay Range: $31.97 / $40.55

As our most acute level of care, our specialty hospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.
Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards.
Performs venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick on identified patients by physician's request in a timely, accurate and caring manner.
Keeps documented records current regarding maintenance and quality control.
Meets the lab service goals as scheduled or report problems to lab director.
Promotes adherence to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and the Corporate Compliance Agreement by monitoring employee performance and identifying and responding to compliance issues.
B.A. / B.S. or equivalent in Medical Technology or related clinical field.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of applicable safety, quality control, and specimen handling guidelines and procedures.
Skilled in using applicable laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, meters, microscopes, incubators, pipettes, autoclaves, and sterilizers.
Ability to work quickly and accurately when under strict deadlines.
Considerable knowledge of the theory and practice of clinical laboratory methods and instrumentation. Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, laboratory medicine, disease processes, and laboratory procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient and/or employee information to assure patient and/or employee rights are protected.
Must have good and regular attendance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
