Under direction of the Department Nursing Director, assists with directing and supervising nursing services and administration functions of the assigned nursing units. Participates in providing direct patient care on a needed basis and uses the role of bedside leader to improve positive patient care and work environment outcomes.
QualificationsMinimum Education
X Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
X ADN-Required BSN-Actively working towards
X Post graduate degree in a healthcare related field (MSN, MHA, MBA)-Preferred
Required Skills
Professional RN license in Georgia
Nursing leadership certification preferred, or actively progressing toward completion within 1 year.
Required Skills
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Work Experience
MINIMUM 2 YEARS CLINICAL BEDSIDE NURSING EXPERIENCE
MINIMUM 2 YEARS IN A SUPERVISORY/LEADERSHIP ROLE.
