Pharmacy Technician- PRN

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compound and dispense medical prescriptions. May perform some clerical duties. Receive and store supplies, verify stock, and maintain inventory records in computer system. Contribute to the efficient operations of the Pharmacy.

Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent X Required
X Associate’s degree X Preferred 

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) X within 60 days of hire or currently enrolled in a Pharm D program

Licenses:
Current Pharmacy Technician Registration in the State of Georgia unless currently enrolled in a Pharm D program

Minimum Work Experience
Three (3) years of Pharmacy Technician experience unless currently enrolled in a Pharm D program
