Serves as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a RegisteredNurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating basic patient care activities, unitsecretary functions, performing 12 lead EKG’s, and functioning as a Monitor Tech. This position can alsoperform basic nursing tasks as described below. Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff,patient, family, and patient care team as required.

Minimum Education
High School Graduate or Equivalent. X Required
Current Enrollment and good standing in an accredited school of nursing, with successful completion ofFundamentals of Nursing
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
