Multi-Care Tech-Med/Surg (FT nights)

Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Basic Patient Care Activities, Unit Secretary functions, performing 12 lead EKG’s. Accurately and promptly communicates with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required.

• Minimum Education:
  High school diploma or equivalent

• Required Skills:
  Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Licensure and Certifications:
  Must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or EMT
  Basic Life Support required

• Minimum Work Experience
  MultiCare Tech I: One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred
  MultiCare Tech II: One year of patient care experience required; hospital setting preferred
