Ultrasound Tech, PRN

Andalusia Health is currently seeking to fill a Student Ultrasound Tech position.

Essential duties

• Utilizes Ultrasound techniques to obtain diagnostic images
• Performs age specific ultrasound procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic sonograms
• Performs inpatient, outpatient, ER and surgical procedures as needed

Education required

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Minimum of one year didactical and clinical training from accredited Ultrasound School

• Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
