ScionHealth is recruiting for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our team!

Job Summary

The Compensation and Benefits Analyst researches complex benefit plan issues, participates in policy review and program implementation, and audits benefit eligibility and compliance.Partners with HRIS on system issues relative to benefit administration.Assists with the evaluation, development and implementation of salary administration programs and policies by researching market trends, participating in salary surveys, and administering annual/merit increase processes.


Essential Functions

  • Research complex benefit plan issues.Determines and approves appropriate action. Recommends resolution on issues.
  • Addresses matters related to time off to include research and issue resolution, as well as policy development.
  • Audits eligibility and compliance for time off policies, including state and local requirements, and addresses with divisions, legal, HRIS, and payroll.
  • Participates in and coordinates program implementations and enhancements.
  • Identifies process improvements and develops procedures to implement.
  • Reviews and evaluates job descriptions, including feedback on recommendations of salary range and exemption status assignments.
  • Responsible for ongoing system and administrative changes for minimum wage updates, retention payments, job code creation/maintenance, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Audits incumbent data to ensure base wage is in compliance with FLSA and minimum wage updates.
  • Participates in submission of complex salary surveys within established time frames.
  • Assists with salary survey analysis to determine if specific positions should be reviewed or salary structures updated.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or experience/education combination equivalence.

Licensure/Certification

  • Professional certification preferred.

Experience

  • 3 -5 years benefit/compensation administration experience, including system and/or data analysis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Multi-task oriented
  • Basic knowledge of FLSA, Title VII, Wage and Hour and EEOC regulations
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
