ScionHealth is recruiting for a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our Supply Chain Team! Preferred candidates will reside in Louisville, Kentucky. Remote candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Overview

We are seeking to hire a Supply Chain Data Analyst, to support our central-led supply chain organization.The ideal candidate will possess: (1) the ability to collect, model, analyze and interpret data; (2) strong knowledge of procurement process and contracts; (3) experience with various technology solutions that enable data visibility and data management efficiency; and (4) strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and present findings to internal team and ScionHealth Executives.The position will report to the Division Vice President, Supply Chain Operations.

Job Summary

Decisions and actions are usually difficult and have both short-term and long-term clinical, operational, and financial ramifications.These decisions often require complex analytical effort and the successful coordination of numerous groups and individuals.The Supply Chain Data Analyst works collaboratively with Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Planning and Procurement to mine, coordinate, and maintain information used to maximize use, compliance and economic advantages related to contracting and performs all work with accord to the mission, vision, and core values of ScionHealth.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and performs benchmarking activities related to non-salary expenses for ScionHealth facilities. Analyzes information to determine the best opportunities to reduce expenses and makes recommendations to the supply chain management team.Information is presented in a managerially useful format that identifies each facility’s progress, as well as combined ScionHealth performance.
  • Through collaborative efforts with Contracting and Supply Chain Operations, identifies new cost reduction opportunities and highlights areas for supply chain operations improvement.
  • Reports the value creation and ongoing results from contracting and operations initiatives in the form of performance dashboards and scorecards.
  • Promotes ScionHealth’s goal to provide quality medical treatment at the lowest possible cost.
  • Encourage active involvement of all employees to seek a balance between cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.Increase awareness of the need for “good stewardship” and economic responsibility as it related to each employee.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and comprehension of the power of PC software programs (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.) and hardware.Demonstrates proficiency in Business Warehouse applications, especially those affiliated with SAP.
  • Collaborates with IT to design custom reports to achieve a managerially efficient format for information to be utilized by Materials Managers, Supply Chain Directors and user departments.
  • Designs and implements special projects as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in the Healthcare Supply Chain field.
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Business Warehouse tools, especially those related to SAP.

Additional Skills & Experience

  • Essential leadership skills include the ability to facilitate and build consensus, persuasiveness, and ability to build/work in a team.
  • Must be able to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and organizational skills are necessary; as well as proficient written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a professional image and ensure communication is understood by the listener.
  • Essential technical skills include technical knowledge and comprehension of the power of the computer, an ability to comprehend and work with financial statements, and a demonstrated base of clinical knowledge with an eagerness to expand that base.
  • Prior experience working in a project-based environment is preferred.
