Description - External
Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives
Develop and implement departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Collaborates with administrators, medical staff leadership, committees and directors to identify potential quality exposures, plans initiatives, monitor effectiveness of programs and integrate quality into the operational level of the organization improve patient safety and quality.
Develops quality programs, prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports, performs proactive analysis of quality processes and takes steps to assure patient safety and quality. Investigates patient harms, documents findings, provides information and education as appropriate to the staff, advises administrator of events.
Trends findings over time and implements education and corrective actions.
Qualifications - External
Required Licenses
Current Wyoming RN licensure.
Required Skills
Current BLS.
