Description

Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive polysomnography testing and analysis and associated interventions under general supervision of a Polysomnography Technologist(RPSGT) and/or the Clinical Director(MD, DO, PhD) or designee. A Polysomnographican may provide supervision for a Polysomnographic Trainee.

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) -30 days from hire to obtain

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)-30 days from hire to obtain

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)-90 days from hire to obtain

Required Skills
Licenses:
Registered Sleep Lab Tech preferred.
