Certified Medical Assistant PRN - Clinic

Provides direct clinical care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Works only under the direct supervision of a Physician or Licensed Healthcare Provider.

Assesses, plans and evaluates patient care needs.

Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

Administers prescribed medications, changes dressing, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs.

Assists physician during examination, treatment, and procedures. Carries out physician's orders.

Required Licenses

Must hold a current Certified Medical Assistant certification

Work Experience

1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred

Required Skills

Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire
