ScionHealth is recruiting for a Director, People Strategy and Initiatives to join our team!


The Director, People Strategy and Initiatives has broad scope and support for people-related strategy, systems, and processes.The position supports the developments and assists a people strategy focused on employee experience at every level of the organization with day-to-day oversight responsibility for organizational culture and DEI; employee relations, HR compliance; HRIS and other HR systems.

Essential Functions:

To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Support the development of enterprise-wide employee relations strategies and standards; implements, oversees and conducts employee relations and performance matters; oversees and implements investigation guidelines, conducts investigations with the potential for enterprise risks and provides oversight for other investigations; collaborates closely with Legal and Compliance to minimize legal, reputational, and financial risks stemming from employee relations matters.
  • Implements efforts to build and maintain a healthy organizational culture aligned with ScionHealth’s values and to embed organizational values in ScionHealth’s business and operating culture; collaborates as needed, with the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer on initiatives to define and promote leadership competencies, leadership development, learning management and mentorship programs.
  • Supports the design, development and efficient operation of HR systems for employee onboarding, employee lifecycle, performance management and evaluation, learning and development.
  • Regular and reliable attendance; Perform other duties as assigned; Approximate percent of time required to travel:Up to 30%

  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience


  • 10+ years’ experience in HR or a related field.
