Livingston Regional Hospital (LRH) is a 114-bed hospital providing a continuum of care covering all aspects of healthcare, from 24-hour emergency services to rehabilitative services on both an impatient and an outpatient basis, a Level II-A neonatal nursery, a 10-bed gero-psych unit and many other services. The Athletic Trainer organizes and conducts athletic training programs in the hospital and in outreach programs in the community by providing the knowledge and skills to meet physician, patient, staff, and/or LRH needs. The athletic trainer evaluates injured athletes at the schools and develops and implements treatment programs to meet the athlete’s needs. The athletic trainer provides rehabilitation services in the clinic under the supervision of an occupational or physical therapist.
QualificationsWell qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in a sports or rehab field, current Athletic Trainer license from the State of Tennessee, and current certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
