RN Trauma Coordinator-Part Time

The Trauma Coordinator provides leadership support through collaboration with the  Directors for the Emergency Department in planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the care provided for the patient. The Trauma Coordinator delegates duties, functions and maintains 24 hour accountability to ensure compliance with all policies and protocols of the hospital.

Serves as a resource and role model for nursing staff and ancillary staff in the management of patient care and nursing issues.

Required Licenses
Must have current and valid Wyoming RN License or Compact Equivalent

Required Skills

Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association

Current ACLS certification through American Heart Association at hire or transfer

Current PALS certification or within 90 days of hire or transfer date

Current NRP certification or within 90 day of hire or transfer date

TNCC - Current Employees due by June 30, 2021; New hires: within 6 months of assuming role

Handle with Care training within first 30 days of employment

Work Experience

Minimum three years clinical nursing experience.

ICU/ER experience preferred.

Previous house supervision and/or management experience preferred.
