Hours: Saturday and Sunday 9 am - 1 pm
The Admissions Representative is responsible for obtaining required admit paperwork and ensuring timely and accurate entry of patient demographic data and changes. Provides essential day-to-day support in a hospital with a patient population ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric and hospital staff.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Customer Service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Ability to project a professional image
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Word processing, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting are ineligible for employment in this position
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs
- Freedom from use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in a health care setting preferred
- One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
